  • Initial meeting

A free initial meeting and site visit are used to establish a brief. This will typically include the type of project along with budget and any design requirements. A fee proposal will then be submitted for the different stages of the project.

  • Site survey

Should the fee proposal be accepted, the next step is to survey the property (if applicable) to ensure the accuracy of any future drawings. The survey will then be drawn up and used as a basis for the proposed design.

  • Design stage and Planning drawings

At this point, the design work begins and ideas can be explored within the brief. When a design is agreed upon, the drawings can be submitted for an application.

  • Building Regulations stage

After planning approval, a set of more technical drawings will be required in order to build the project. They must meet the standards mandated in the Approved Documents and will be submitted to the local building control authority for approval.
